当今的中国有无数山寨品，有的我们甚至分辨不出真假。我们是述一个文化现象，从开始的无脑模仿，到最后的改造创新，带给人们更多脑洞的创新，带来啼笑皆非的欢乐，也带来智造的形式。有贫富差距就一定有山寨文化现象，中国现还处在模仿阶段，怎么从模仿中找到乐趣，既可以街头文化，也可以高山流水。
如何在真真假假中改造，如何借鉴，如何山寨。
Real or Fake? In contemporary China, countless "Shanzhai" (knock-off) products blur the lines between authenticity and imitation. This project explores a unique cultural phenomenon: the evolution from mindless mimicry to creative subversion. Shanzhai culture often springs from the gap between rich and poor, reflecting a stage of imitation that China is currently navigating. Yet, within this mimicry, there is an unexpected humor and a form of "grassroots innovation" that brings both laughter and ingenious new forms.
Whether it manifests as raw street culture or refined art, "Shanzhai" invites us to find joy in the imitation. It challenges us to rethink: how do we transform within the blur of real and fake? How do we borrow, and how do we reinvent through the lens of Shanzhai?
